She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gerber and Mary Alice Rathbun Gerber; her husband William J. Leonard; and her siblings, David, Charles Gerber and Carolyn Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Jodeen Cintula (Michael), Michael Leonard and Robert Leonard; her grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica; her sisters, Sharon Schweer (Arnie) and Jan O'Dahl (Tim); and her close friend Marlene Pinti. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
She knitted and donated hundreds of new born hats over the years to the Rome Hospital.
