With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia A. Matt of Taberg, New York, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Collins and Pearl Collins (Armstrong); her husband Leo E. Matt; and her brothers, Daniel, Thomas, John, George, Frank Collins and Kenneth McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Broski, Brenda Matt, Mary Haver (Richard), Gregory Matt (Diane), Michael Matt (Tracy) and Brian Matt (Theresa); her sister Joan Boardman; her grandchildren, Ryan Matt (Kylie), Andrew Matt, Katelyn Schoettlin (Brandon), Briana Leuenberger (Jake Bach), Collin Broski, Amanda Bryson (Ryan), Martin Matt, Megan Mandryck (Jim), Sarah Matt (Jared Rasha), Dustin Matt, Allison Hilbert (Brian), Alaina Wilczek (Rich), Alexis Young (Ryan), Kyle Haver (Suejin), Carrie Redford (Taylor) and Lindsey Raczka (Andrew); and her siblings-in-law, Rose Gregorwich, Theresa Collins, Kathy Matt, Sara Matt, Audrey Matt, Jeannette Matt, Alan Matt (Nancy) and Vincent Matt (Bobbi). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
