With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diana R. Merrick of Taberg, New York, born in Montour Falls, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ames and Eleanor Ames (Schneider); her husband George Merrick; her grandsons, Daniel and George Merrick; and her brother Emmons "Pearly" Ames.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Kennedy (Jim), Laura Johnson, Heather Merrick, Thomas Merrick (Anna), Randal Merrick (Thea), Rex Merrick and Andrew Merrick (Amber); her siblings, Nancy Reed (Joe), Howard Ames, Tom Ames and Richard Harris; and her grandchildren, Jennfer Poulson (Jeremy), Isla Otap (Dan), James Kennedy III (Kaitlyn), Kendal Merrick (Leticia), Hannah Merrick, Alisha Travis-Dougherty (Alec), Emily Johnson, Ella Merrick and Max Merrick. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
