She was predeceased by: her parents, James McNamara and Anna Slattery McNamara; her former husbands, Dan Thornton and Jack Gates; and her son Michael Thornton.
She is survived by: her spouses, Dan Thornton and Jack Gates; her daughter Anne Streno (Bob) of Denver; her sister Claire Hayden of Syracuse; and also, Greg Thornton (Ellen), Barry Thornton (Carole), Dave Thornton (Jill), Don Thornton (Carol), Patricia Gates and John Odell Gates. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
