Wayne D. Para Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne D. Para of Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy; his parents, George Para and Irene Doe Para; and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his children, Gregory T. of Myakka City, FL, Stephen D. (Cindy) of Stephen City, VA, Keith L. (Carol) of East Syracuse and Theresa Marie Para of Liverpool; his sister Linda Porter of Apulia Station; his grandchildren, Keith (Cassie), Brian (Callie), Michael (Amanda), Cameron, Zack (Ashley), Mackenzie, Maddie, Luke (Sara), Sam Para, Johnny and Wayne Sgroi; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Mason, Sydney, Jojo and Owen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home (3111 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery (4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215).
