Viola E. Straka Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 103, Viola E. Straka of Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Paddleford Brown Stahl and Oscar Stahl; her husband John Straka; her son Stanley Straka; her grandson John Robert Straka; her son-in-law Stanley Dabrowski; and her brothers, Lawrence, Richard, Gordon and Ivan Stahl.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan; her son-in-law Jerry Avery; her children, Kay Dabrowski and Russ Straka; her grandchildren, Denise Strickland (Tom), Laura McSpedon (Matt), Susan Demartini (Nick), Mike Dabrowski and Alicia Furnish (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Felix, Ellie, Hayes Demartini, Addison Avery-Payne, Liam McSpedon and Harper Furnish.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Vi's name to the First Presbyterian Church, 3 Church St, PO Box 314, Bainbridge, NY 13773.
