He was predeceased by: his wife Bernadette Johnson; his siblings, Francis, Richard, Roz and Charlene (Ronnie); his children, Leroy, Mary Lou, James and Ashley Rose; his granddaughter Sandra; and his parents, Bernice Powless and Melvin Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Karen, Amy, Amber and William Thomas (Shawna); his grandchildren, Rioux, Cherice, Nykira, Sccorrah, Lexani, Andari and Kiotti; and his siblings, Mike, Raymond, Marlene, Debbie and Linda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
