She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fort and Beulah Fort; her daughters, Virginia Malone, Vanessa Leeper and Betty Joe Lawrence; and her brother Charles Fort.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Johnson (Tucci), Danice Malone (Bucky), Anne Marie Williams, John Malone, Gregory R. Malone, Dennis B. Cannon and Reginald T. Cannon; and her stepsons, Carl Echols and Ricky Johnson. She is also survived by grandchildren and, great-grandchildren.
