In the vast expanse of eternity, Valerie Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Valerie Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her son Benjamin. She is survived by: her husband Todd Carsten; her children, Christa, Kelli and Daniel; and her siblings, Valinda (Chester), Rowland (Susan), Roger (Lorraine) and Nolan (Tara). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lafayette Alliance Church (6069 US-20, Lafayette, NY 13084). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
