He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Elia and Edith Elia (Rinaldo). He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Whitford (Rick) of Syracuse, Gabriel Elia II (Mary Ellen) of Camillus and Samuel Elia of Syracuse; his sister-in-law Maribeth Elia; and his great-aunt Rose Anthony of Granby. He is also survived by 2 nephews, 2 nieces and several cousins.
