He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Thayer, and Beverly Thayer, Jr.; and his siblings, William David Thayer and Cynthia June Bell. He is survived by: his children, Travis Thayer (Jennifer) of Syracuse and Shelby Thayer (Dennis Shafnisky) of State College, PA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.
