He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret and Wallace (Eugene); his siblings, Donald, Raleigh Johnston and Mary Johnston Weber; and his stepson Matthew.
He is survived by: his wife Lianne Johnston; his children, Andrea Johnston (Joe) and Shawn Johnston; his sister Deborah Gladle of Cicero; and his stepchildren, Jennifer, Perry, Daniel (Ava) and Jared. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
