He is survived by: his significant other Uticia Young; his children, Tanesia Cooper, Demitris Jackson, Daequan Lee, Malaysia Jackson and Duran Jackson; his mother Edna Jackson; his grandchild Godmother of Helen Hall; and his siblings, Valerie Dunning, Lasonya Jackson, Pat Herriotte (Chris), Travis Jackson (Tiffany), Andrew Jackson, Raheem Shorter (Jennifer), Harold Shorter and Wayne Shorter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
