She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Engel; her husband Ludwig P. Vita; her father Charles J. Engel; her brother Charles J. Engel Jr.; her brother-in-law Jim Brennan; and her children-in-law, Kathy, Robert Harnig and George Koulouris.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Ward (Rex), Sharon Vita, Sheila Sposato (Ernest), Teresa Koulouris, William Vita (Robyn), Ludwig Jr. Vita, Marianne Harnig and Charles Vita (Kim); and her sister Carolyn Brennan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
