He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Cuozzo and Steve Sapka; his sister Beverly McCarthy; and his daughter Stepheni. He is survived by: his wife Christena Payne Sapka; his children, Christena Reiser (Peter) and Mark Sapka; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Zachary, Jason and Tara Reiser; his sister Catherine Cuozzo; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Payne (Patricia) and Dina Dugan (Payne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home (3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse, NY 13219). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (216 N Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204).
