We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2023, at the age of 89, Sophia M. Mykolajewycz of Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Iwan; her daughter Irene Galvin; and her parents, Jan Schmidt and Maria Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Helen Aragoni of Moss Beach, CA and Mark Mykol (Michele) of Florissant, CO.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church for its renovation fund in Sophia's memory.
