It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley May DeRyke of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gilmore and Florence Gilmore (Fike); and her siblings, Thomas, Dorothy Widger (Gilmore) and Ann King (Gilmore).
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Aubrey of Cleveland, NY, Robert Stoneburger of Port Byron, NY and Darlene Widger of Syracuse; and her brothers, Richard of Louisiana and William of Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley worked over 60+ years in the produce packing industry, lastly working for Syracuse Banana Co from 1998 until Covid, when she was no longer able to work.
