She was predeceased by: her son William Metzler; her mother Anna Smith; and her sister Janet Burke. She is survived by: her husband Daniel W. Griffith; her children, Robert Metzler (John), John Metzler (Jayne Middleton), Valerie Metzler and Susan Hole (Jerry); and her stepchildren, Kate Griffith and David Griffith (Ann). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
