It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheilah A. Kirker of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheilah A. Kirker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Arnold VanAuken and Pauline VanAuken (Sullivan); her sister Theresa Murphy (VanAuken); and her children, Leah Kirker and John Kirker.

She is survived by: her caregiver Sean Thurston; her husband Gerald Kirker; her daughter Shelby Chindamo (Sam); her grandchildren, Joseph, Eric, Kathryn (Eric O'Conner) and Jill Green (Alex); and her brother John VanAuken. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews many other loving family members and friends.
