Sharon R. Deitz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2022, at the age of 78, Sharon R. Deitz of Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Gerald, Allen and Ruth Welch; and her close friend Emil Laufer. She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Stempien of Fairmont, WV and Cheryl Baye (Charles "Chuck") of Whitesboro; her sister Esther O'Neal of Red Oak, TX; her sister-in-law Joanne of Syracuse; and her grandchildren, Ashley Capuana (Ben) and Brandon Baye. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mattydale American Legion Post #1832, 2718 Lemoyne Ave., Mattydale, NY 13211.
