With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Senora Mitchell of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chatman and Frances Chatman (Hall); her former husband Jesse J. Thomas Sr. (Owbed); and her brothers, Leonard Bass Chatman, Ronald Chatman, Paul Chatman and Kirkland Chatman.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Mitchell; her children, James Taylor, Antwaun Taylor (Sophia), Antoinette Villarreal (Sonny) and Sylvia Jenkins (Fredie); her siblings, Anna Bass (Stallter), Geraldine Chatman (Parhm), Deborah Chatman (Parahams), Angelette Chatman (Stinson), Hank Chatman, Arthur Chatman and Raymond Chatman; and her close friends, Julia Barnette, Doreen Mandez, Barbra Hill, Darlene Jones, Diane of Indiana and Mark of Syracuse. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
