He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Huckins, Sr. and Patricia O. Huckins. He is survived by: his pet Kona; his wife Karen A. Doherty; his daughters, Yasmina C. Huckins of Brooklyn, NY, Emma M. Huckins of Pittsburgh, PA and Karlie M. Huckins of Syracuse, NY; and his siblings, Susan H. Campbell (Patrick) of Denver, CO, Robert M. Huckins, Jr. of Ruidoso Downs, NM and Malcolm O. Huckins of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and several cousins.

I was glad to have had some time to speak with him over the summer and share some past memories. He and his parents had been of great support to me many years ago.
