He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Ann Putnam. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Putnam and Doris Putnam (Schinsing); his siblings, Armand of New York Mills and Lucia Spring of Greenville, SC; and his stepchildren, Nick Senke, Joseph Geary and Patricia "Trish" Chaperon. He is also survived by six step grandchildren.
