With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott A. McKinstry of Syracuse, New York, born in Presque Isle, Maine, who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McKinstry and Beverly McKinstry; and his sister Dawn Jones. He is survived by: his wife Becky Wright McKinstry; his children, Christopher (Kathryn) and Amy McKinstry; his brothers, Ralph of Spokane, WA, Bruce (Page) and Eric (Sue) of Utica, NY; his nephews, Will of Vienna, VA, Matthew and Cory of York, PA; and his grandchildren, Madison, Liam, Brielle and Caeden.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
