She was predeceased by: her mother Bertha Daniszewski of Syracuse's West End; her husband Harold "Brownie" Brown; and her sisters, Clara Waibel (Frederick) and Virginia Celletti (Dominic). She is survived by: her sister Margaret Marposon (Eli) of Westvale, NY; her nieces and nephews, Barbara Carr (Steven), Donna Gibbs, James Celletti (Mary), Frederick Waibel, Dale Waibel (Mary), Gregory Marposon, Christopher Marposon (Karen), Daniel Marposon (Cristin) and Martin Marposon (Angela); and her cousins, Mary Ann Zelinski and Kathleen Casson (Charles).
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (927 Park Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (6650 Beach Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209).
To honor Sarah, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Preservation Fund, 927 Park Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204.
