With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roswitha Leonardo of Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Roswitha is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Roswitha's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her brother Roland Staab. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, Michael Leonardo (Ann Perkins) and Stephan Leonardo (Iya Leonardo); her grandchildren, Michael, Ellie and Isabel; and her sister Andrea Englert.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made in the form of charitable donations to Francis House; Roswitha spent her final days in their care.
