We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2023, at the age of 92, Rosemary Helen Evans of Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Hart (Massett) and James Hart; her husband Howard Evans; and her siblings, Gloria James (Sis Whitmore), Raymond, Edward, Richard and Clifford.

She is survived by: her extended family, Massett and Evans; her siblings, Donald, Barbara, Florence Viscosi and Kenneth; and her children, Judy, Ron (Sara), Dan (Carol), Tim (Ness), Mary Gotham (Steve), Ed (Janet), Jim (Kathy), Ann Evans-Scheibel, Joe (Diana), John (Jennifer) and Steve (Kerry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Hope or Hospice of CNY.

“TO the entire Evans family, I am so very sorry to hear of your beautiful mother's passing. Such a dear friend to all of us kids on Coye. We have so many wonderful memories with all of you, including both of your parents. Thank you Jimmy for bringing her by to visit that day, and Judy for bringing her to Ruston's for breakfast where we could take the picture with her and Dad. She will always remain a highlight of our days on Coye Rd, as will your entire family. Love to all of you, Mary Banac”
