Rose left this world on January 10, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam; her parents, Frank Luongo and Angeline Luongo; her siblings, Pauline Vecchio, Irene Filicia (Anthony), Frank (Margaret), Richard, John, David, Anthony (Helena) and Robert Luongo (Janice); and her brother-in-law Robert Gruninger.

She is survived by: her sister Marie Gruninger; and her nieces, Kathy and Paula.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Ceclilia's Church (1001 Woods Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
