She is survived by: her husband Lawrence D. Mays of Syracuse; her children, Lynor Fort of Cordele, Darius Fort, Edward Fort of Syracuse and Scottie Fort-Troutman of Reynolds, Georgia; her grandchildren, Tonijna Ogburn, Tyce Fort, Alayla Dawson of Cordele, Shamya Fort of Warner Robins, Edmauri Fort, Eddie Fort, Zynia Fort, Zykerria Fort and Sabrina McFarlane of Syracuse; her sisters, Gale Seymour (Jonah), Betty Fort of Syracuse and Gloria Fort of Cordele, Georgia; and her aunt Jessie Mae Fuller (Elmo) of Desota, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
