It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Francis in Syracuse, New York, born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Francis and Alfred Francis. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Callahan Francis; his sons, Michael (Suzanne), Gregory and Kevin (Margaret); his grandchildren, Nathan, Lillian, Joseph and Claire; and his siblings, John, Alfred, Mary Henry (Phil), Mark (Cindy), Michael (Mary) and Gail Schnabl (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

““From Carmen Tosto, Ron was a great guy. We went through grade school and high school together. The Summer my Mother died in 1960, 5th grade, at St.Anthony’s. He came over to hang out together at my house and we swam in the water in the sand pit on Cedar street in Batavia. He was nice enough to keep company with me during that sad time in my life. I’ll never forget how nice he was at that time and throughout our relationship in school. My sincere condolences to Shelia and family on their loss.”
