He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his children, Yvette Newton of Fabius and Roy of Syracuse; his grandchildren, RJ Miller (Sheena) of Vancouver, WA, Erica Shaffer (Eric) of Phoenix, NY, Kyle Newton of Oswego and Nadine Newton of Otisco; and his great grandchild Eric Shaffer. He is also survived by several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
