He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Sparrow and Julia Murphy Sparrow; and his wife Doris Elizabeth Sparrow. He is survived by: his children, Robert Sparrow, Jr. (Susan) of St. James, NC, Mary Pelchar of Elmira, NY and Patricia Kent (Leonard) of Killington, VT; and his sister-in-law Arlene O'Neil of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Lower Cape Fear Life Care.
