He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma. He is survived by: his children, Matthew (Leith) of Guilderland, Pamela of Syracuse and Mark (Jennifer) of Saratoga Springs; his sister Juanita Payton of Liverpool; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Skylar, Cooper and Addison.
