Robert D. Chryst Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Chryst (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Chryst and Katherine Sullivan Chryst; his sisters, Joan Charlson, Helen Bardenett and Carol Wallace; and his close friend Sam Oloye.
He is survived by: his sister Kaye Chryst Barrington of Camillus; and his close friends, Samuel Acevedo and Jorge Luis Mendez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spanish Ministries for Diocese, 240 E. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13202 or to Unity Acres, Inc., 2290 County Rte. 2, Orwell, NY 13426, in honor of Father Chryst's compassionate spirit and his dedication to helping those in need.
