We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Rita Claire Canavan (Syracuse, New York), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Richard; her son-in-law Philip Biggie; and her husband Paul Canavan. She is survived by: her sisters, Pat Regan and Audrey Griffiths; and her children, Margie Gordon (Gary), Sally Rozniak (Michael), Mary Richardson (William), Betsy Biggie, Michael (Sue), Paul, William and Martin (Sue). She is also survived by des 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of CNY.
