He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Goodfellow Barry. He is survived by: his children, Mark Barry (Janine Barry), Stephen Barry, Jean Durkee (John Durkee), Timothy Barry (Susan Barry), Christopher Barry (Kristen Barry) and Lisa Barry; and his grandchildren, Kelly Barry, Heather Banas, Megan Barry, Nicole Barry, Alyssa Barry, Emily Durkee, Catherine Barry, Sydney Barry and Johnny Durkee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
