He was predeceased by: his parent Leowen Bassett; and his stepchildren, Stephen Milovicz, Kimmy Milovicz and Aaron Milovicz. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Bassett; his wife Maruta Briedis Bassett of Syracuse; and his sons, Michael Bassett (Kelly) of Chittenango and Peter Bassett.
