He was predeceased by: his wife Candace; and his daughter Michelle. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Edward (EJ), Rose, Steven and Cindy Curtis; his sister Helen Matyas (Ed); his children, Richard Jr., Frances Kohanski and Danielle Marturano; and his siblings, Francis Kohanski (Carol) and Mary Ann Laskowski. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
