It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Griffen (Syracuse, New York), born in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lida Griffen and Erven Griffen; his wife Cecilia Cox; and his siblings, Alfred, Alice and Florence.
He is survived by: his children, Cecilia Kurpita (Nick), Richard Griffen, Jr. (Bonnie), Douglas Griffen and Elizabeth Griffen (Tom Edwards). He is also survived by six grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services are private.
