He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Gilbert and Frances Gilbert. He is survived by: his son Richard Gilbert, Jr.; his wife Judith Gilbert; his daughter Rachel Sady; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Gable and Dorothy Gable.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Falardeau Funeral Home (93 Downer St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027).
