He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald and Marie Smith, Sr.; and his former wife Susann C. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughters, Maureen Mulderig (Martin) of Camillus, Jennifer Bersani of Camillus and Kimberly Smith of Troy; his stepchildren, James VanDyke (Tracey) of Fairmount and Lori Erlenback (William) of Elbridge; his siblings, Fred Smith (Linda) of Las Vegas and Rita Matthes (Ray) of East Syracuse; and his grandchildren, Nick Mulderig, Madison VanDyke and Ali Riznyk. He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
