He is survived by: his wife Joyce Evans; his children, Florence Walters (Bill) and Ransom Evans, III (Melissa); his stepson Darryl Hill (Teresa); and his siblings, Juanita Monroe, Dorothy Blair, Rosetta Green and Archie Evans. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
