He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Modugno and Angela Modugno (Sacco); and his sister Susan Modugno Heim. He is survived by: his wife Diane Modugno (Grovine); his children, Gary Modugno of Syracuse, Ralph P. Modugno (Kelly) of Syracuse and Linda DeMauro (Daniel) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Daniel Modugno (Jennifer) of Fayetteville, Kayleigh Modugno of Camillus, Nicole Mirizio (Anthony) of Cicero, Daniel DeMauro and Corey DeMauro of Syracuse; his great grandchildren, Katie and Austin Modugno; his brother Francis Modugno (Judy Tyo) of North Syracuse; his brother-in-law Jeffrey Heim of Ohio; and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Modugno of Camillus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (927 Park Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204).
