He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Merlini Rankin; his stepchildren, Veronica Hotaling (Ron) of Fabius, NY and Andres Echenique (Pamela) of Manlius, NY; and his brother Robert Rankin (Jeannine) of Saginaw, MI. He is also survived by grandchildren.
