It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jean Barbato of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Jean Barbato to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo C. and Mary A. DeSantis (Frascati); her husband John Anthony Barbato; and her sister Mary Elizabeth DeSantis. She is survived by: her sons, John (Carolyn) of Liverpool, Thomas (Mary Beth) of Fort Myers, FL and Robert Barbato (Emily) of Delmar, NY; her grandchildren, Joseph (Hannah), Michael (Bridget), Theresa (Hayden), Lynn (Michael), Nicholas (Erika), Daniel (Dara) and Jacob (Drew); and her great grandchildren, Shea, Leo, Andre, Samuel, Anthony, Sophie, Louisa, Oliver and Sebastian. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (400 Salt Springs St, Fayetteville, NY 13066). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
