He was predeceased by: his brother Martin Tone; and his mother Lillian Nichols Tone. He is survived by: his wife Gail Tone; his children, Jody Tone, Erika Tone and Karl Tone; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Collin, Natalie, Mason and Maya.
