He was predeceased by: his father Francis "Jake" M. Costello. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine "Catie" Coleman (Michael) of Jamestown, NC and Shannan Costello of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Jasmin Lugo and Michael "Mikey" Coleman Jr. of Jamestown, NC; his siblings, Thomas (Joan) of Syracuse, NY, Carolyn of Durham, NC, Sarah of Tucson, AZ and Matthew (Martha) of Henderson, NY; his nieces and nephews, Saralyn of Scottsdale, AZ, Robert (Megan) of Denver, NC, Keri of Durham, NC, Joshua Seymour of Garner, NC, Caitlyn Hendricks-Costello of Richmond, VA and Molly Costello Ganley (Connor) of Syracuse, NY; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert "Robbie", Jake Costello Seymour of Denver, NC, Annie and Cillian Ganley of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by friends and family.
