He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheila Ash and M. B. Adkison. He is survived by: his husband Jonathan Filardo; his siblings, Marquis, Shavonne, Michelle, Danielle, Joseph, Me'shi, Aretha, Waheedah and Sharell; and his grandmother Fannie Mae Adkison. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
