With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Redick (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on July 12, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Collins; her husband James H. Thompson; her mother Grace Mae Collins; and her siblings, Sherman Collins and Linda Collins Bridges.

She is survived by: her friend Patricia Grant; her children, Sherron Thompson of Syracuse, Sherman Thompson of Syracuse, Lavone Avery of Florida, Tommy Thompson of Florida and James Thompson, Jr. (Olita) of Florida; her grandchildren, Alondra Roper, Christopher Redick (Crystal) and Tommy Thompson; her great grandchildren, Rickey Kendrick of Florida, Kelvin Ellis of Florida and Dabriana Williams of Florida; and her great great grandchildren, Riley Kendrick, Karina Kendrick and Mila Kendrick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
