She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Colucy. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Wolcott of Rochester Hills, MI and Barbara "Bonnie" Hebert (Michael) of Wilmington, MA; and her grandchildren, Victoria Schmidt (Alex), Rebecca Wolcott, Samuel Wolcott IV, Danielle and Jenny Hebert.

“In loving memory of Mary Ellen Colucy, Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. Although Cousin Mary Ellen and I were not close, I have always admired her. We have much in common, both teachers, animal lovers and supporters of the Native American. How happy she must be to be home at last with Mike and so many others. I shall send a gift to the SPCA and to St. Joseph's.”
